How many of us have left our homes because of the war? How many have lost their own walls forever? How many of us wander from threshold to threshold, dreaming about only one thing, the homeland?

When I get home... I'll put my suitcase by the door, open my bag, find the door key with my fingertips, blindly insert it into the keyhole, turn it and the door will open. Hundreds of other peoples’ windows, roads, thousands of anxieties and fears, attempts to find oneself and endless search for something new will remain behind the threshold. I’ll cross the threshold. And I will be home...

It took part in my personal exhibition "To persevere", dedicated to the anniversary of the war in Ukraine, that took place in Germany, Meerbusch, Teloy-Mühle, February, 2023.
